» Women's Health & Advocacy Project:
Provides What Are the Facts? health education seminars and curriculum-based classes to the community. Topics include basic health concerns, resiliency skills, emotional health, and advocating for your health.

» Adolescent Girls Health Education Program:
Provides health education classes resiliency skill training to effect health concerns. Topics include nutrition, physical activity, drugs, alcohol and tobacco, healthy relationships and personal and community safety. The classes also teach the following skills: positive thinking,decision-making, goal-setting, stress and coping, communication and negotiation.

Although women often think of heart attack as something that affects mainly men, heart disease is the number one killer of women. Every 90 seconds, a woman in the United States has a heart attack. Sadly, research shows that only half of women indicated they would call 9-1-1 had they known they were having a heart attack. Even worse, fewer were aware of the most common symptoms.
