Volunteers and College Interns

Volunteers and college interns are trained by The Women’s Fund for Health Education to provide the classes in the afterschool and community setting. Other community partners are trained by The Women’s Fund for Health Education staff to provide the curriculum to their own population.

By providing a Train the Trainer model, the model can be implemented more broadly and therefore benefit more young women. By utilizing volunteers, college interns, and train-the-trainer, we can maintain lower overhead and operational expenses.
