Young Professionals Organization (YPO):
The Women's Fund for Health Education and Research formed the H.E.R. Young Professionals Organization (YPO) to reach out to Houston women ages 21-40. YPO meets quarterly for a free networking event at a fun location in the city.  Enjoy networking, drinks, hors d'oeuvres and mini-seminars on health, fashion and many other fun and interesting topics. 
The goals of the YPO are:

  • To promote healthy lifestyles with mini-seminars on topics relevant to women ages 21-35.

  • To create a fun, entertaining platform for young female professionals to network and create new relationships in the community.

  • To promote health benefits of friendships. Research has shown that a strong group of friends leads to a longer, healthier lifestyle! And friendships have a positive influence on coping behaviors, self-esteem, blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol and stress.

  • To encourage younger women to become more involved with The Women's Fund for Health Education and Research.
